The high-level medical body warns not to open the tourist center and allow travel, so that they can be like ‘successful publishers’.

India has announced 2,020 new deaths of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, sent by the Ministry of Health, as the country’s top medical council warns of the impending third plague.

While the mortality rate was high because the central region of Madhya Pradesh is also a reflection of the prevalence, the number of cases reported Tuesday was 32,906, the lowest by about four months.

On Monday, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) warned not to open the tourist center and allow travel, saying it could serve as a third-party “over-the-counter publishers”.

After the second major hurricane – heavily driven by the deadly and dangerous Delta-infected species – has devastated the country’s financial management system, India now claims about one-tenth of its daily figures in May.

But experts are concerned that the third wave of the disease is not far away because restrictions on travel are being reduced in some parts of the country.

IMA has called on governments and citizens to protect themselves from COVID-19, saying a third blow could not be avoided.

“It is sad to know that, at this critical time … in many parts of the country, the government and the general public are unaffected by holding rallies without complying with COVID principles,” IMA told reporters.

The comments from the IMA are in line with the action of government officials, who have urged citizens to refrain from crowding out visitors and warned that the second wave of coronavirus is not over.

“The bonanza of visitors, travel, religious interest are all important, but it can wait for several months,” said the IMA, adding that the opening of the ceremony would enable non-vaccinated people to attend the conventions and “those who can spread the third wave of COVID.”

India has announced that COVID-19 has died at more than 408,000, the third highest in the world.

Vaccination rates in India have also dropped, with about 8% of the 950 million eligible people being vaccinated.
