Generation Z will liberate Palestine | The conflict between Israel and Palestine

This time it is different – the Palestinian struggle for equality and freedom has reached a new level.

Faced with the recent attacks on Jewish freedom and life in East Jerusalem and Gaza, the Palestinian people not only displayed unprecedented courage and solidarity, but also boycotted the operation, first in years, with the support of both Fatah and Hamas.

In addition, new alliances have been found with Palestinians in international forums.

On social media, thousands of people around the world have condemned the recent terrorist attacks on Israel in Palestine under hashtags like #SaveSheikhJarrah and #Gazaunderattack. Although Israel and the media companies tried to close them down, they made public the illegal occupation of Israel and their repeated violations of Palestinian civil rights and international law.

Moreover, for the first time, several members of the United States Congress, including Rashida Tlaib and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, have publicly declared Israel a violent state. Senator Bernie Sanders, meanwhile, has come up with a plan to ban the sale of $ 735m worth of weapons in Israel in response to an 11-day Israeli bombing in Gaza, which killed 253 Palestinians, including 66 children. Even the brave Israeli Fox News journalist Geraldo Rivera has personally condemned the US conflict over Israeli war crimes and expressed his support for an end to the arms trade in Israel.

Well-known celebrities such as John Oliver, Bella Hadid, Susan Sarandon, Malala Yousafzai, Paul Pogba, Kyrie Irving and many others have condemned the Israeli occupation and used their platforms to inform the Palestinian people in the fight for freedom and peace.

And the global spread of Palestine will not last long: As evidenced by the rise of justice organizations such as MeToo and the Black Lives Matter, young people around the world are more determined than ever to address their own injustices. They are more supportive of the Palestinian struggle than their predecessors and are not afraid to investigate and criticize Israeli propaganda for their abduction and other atrocities and illegal activities.

This, of course, does not mean that the new generation – the Generation Z – does not face any obstacles to their desire to be allied with the Palestinians.

Major modern corporations such as Facebook and Google are working more and more time to remove anti-Israel and Zionism from their popular platforms. Since the beginning of the escalating violence in the Palestinian Territories and Gaza, the companies have been displaying videos and videos with activists, activists and other Palestinian activists seeking to inform and share information about Israeli war crimes and human rights abuses. . YouTube has added a year-long ban on Al Jazeera Arabic as the river continues to cover the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The ban was lifted only after people criticized the move.

Platforms play with popular blogs among Generation Z, such as IGN, Gamespot, Kotaku, and Game Informer all the printed wording to help Palestinian people and make links to Palestinian aid agencies after the recent Israeli bombing in Gaza. However, a number of these companies later dismissed this and that, worrying that they, too, are being pressured not to criticize Israel on their platforms.

And the ban on Israel is not limited to TV and blogs. Western media outlets are increasingly exaggerating Israel-Palestine and Israel’s unwavering rejection, refusing to acknowledge racism, war crimes and crimes against humanity.

In addition, while young Americans want social justice at home and abroad, U.S. officials here are expressing their unwillingness to change Washington’s attitude toward Israel and to stop supporting a deadly Israeli attack on the Palestinian people.

And perhaps most importantly, the Generation Z-led justice for the people and the great support for the rights of the Palestinian people and the places to be read are an issue that seeks to strengthen and make them sick.

In the media, members of Generation Z are often identified as anxious, frustrated and mentally disturbed who waste their time sharing meaningless videos on the popular TikTok program. As a result, their politics are ridiculed and ignored as a prudent approach to dysphoria. The process of distributing denial and protests by showing that the irrational and ideological is nothing new – racial, sexual and political has been plagued for a long time.

Despite thousands of obstacles, however, the TikTok generation had already forged a new and dangerous alliance for the Palestinian people and brought about their decades-long struggle for justice.

Obviously, we have already read reports, studies and reports of increased Palestinian support among young people in the past when members of Generation Z were very young – but Generation Z’s interest is different from what it was before they were born.

Unlike Millennials whose limited support in Palestine is often decorative and has not been transformed into concrete, Generation Z does more than just tell lies about the alliance. He is planning a campaign to force universities and other government agencies to take action. Not only do they constantly oppose anti-Semitic claims but they also take on the spread of Israeli propaganda and try to persuade the Palestinian people to retaliate. They are calling on their governments to stop selling bombs to Israel who they know will be used to kill Palestinian civilians. They are not afraid to call Israel what it is: a colonial land.

The cultural change in Palestine came on the heels of good governance by the BLM and MeToo, which highlighted the integration of cases of justice between racism and gender inequality to the point of colonial oppression. Now that young people see the Palestinian struggle as an integral part of their quest for justice, equality and universal freedom, it is only reasonable to assume that the Palestinian cause will grow and become stronger in the coming years.

The recent Israeli offensive against the Palestinian people may have ended with the end of the war, but the Palestinian struggle has not ended. However, today, I am more optimistic than ever, because of the new generation that sees the struggle against injustice and oppression as their responsibility and opportunity, that freedom and justice are impossible for the Palestinian people.
