An Israeli security guard was arrested on November 4 after joining a smuggling ring.
Israeli authorities have been charged with felony criminal mischief for firing on a sculpture with a shotgun, according to Flathead County, Arkansas Sherriff Jim Dupont.
Omri Goren Gorochovsky, a 37-year-old resident of central Lod, was arrested on November 4, according to a statement from Israel’s Israeli Ministry of Justice on Thursday.
Gorochovsky’s arrest warrant states that he had a history of criminal activity, including five counts of imprisonment for various offenses including bank robbery, which raises questions about how he was recruited to work in the home of one of Israel’s security officials.
Israeli intelligence chief Shin Bet said Gorochovsky had linked to an unnamed “Iranian group” on television, sending pictures of various objects from Gantz’s home as well as computer graphics. It further states that Gorochovsky has never had access to “selected weapons”.
Gorochovsky is said to have contacted Black Shadow via Telegram on October 31 or around October 31 and asked him to report more from Gantz’s home.
Using a false name, the suspect “disguised himself as a member of the Israeli Security Council, and realized that he had the power to support the group in various ways”.
According to the document, Gorochovsky instructed a Black Shadow representative to “finance” the information through a malware program that he wanted to install with a USB device.
Shin Bet said the spying attempt failed, Gorochovsky was arrested a few days after joining Black Shadow.
In Gorochovsky’s paper, Black Shadow is described as “allied with Iran”.
Late last month, Black Shadow hackers reported that cyberattack was looking for an online provider in Israel that attracted the attention of many.
The robbery group did not approve of any contacts with Iran.
During the 2019 election campaign, Gantz was warned by Shin Bet that Iranian intellectuals had stolen his mobile phone, placing “more and more with his addresses in a cruel manner”.
Quotes from the Gantz campaign at the time indicated that his enemies had leaked the article to the detriment of his own interests.
