Bangladeshi cricketer Shakib was suspended after a bomb blast | Cricket News

The former captain, who had a criminal record, paid $ 5,900 and was banned for three games.

Shakib al-Hasan who toured Bangladesh nationally was suspended for three matches and fined for displaying “cruelty to a judge” at home matches.

Shakib, the world-famous One-Day Internationals, made headlines after the appeal was rejected by a football match between Abahani Limited and Mohammedan Sporting Club in Dhaka on Friday.

He then pulled out all three stumps and tossed them aside as the singer stopped the game due to rain.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has found Shakib, a Mohammedan general, guilty of two counts and suspended him for the upcoming three matches in the Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier Division T20 Cricket League.

He was also fined 500,000 shillings (US $ 5,900).

“Shakib was found guilty of conduct contrary to the spirit of the sport after expressing violence against the singer,” the BCB said in a statement on Saturday.

The 34-year-old brought the game back by using vulgar language and reckless and unethical actions, BCB said.

Shakib wrote on Facebook that he was “very sad for losing my heart”.

“A talented player like me shouldn’t do this but sometimes even when this happens, it’s unfortunate.”
