Palestinian people in the West Bank were killed for the sixth time | Conflicts between Israel and Palestine Issues

Israeli forces have destroyed the Bedouin Palestinian group of Humsa al-Baqai’a in the Jordan Valley, including houses donated by other countries.

At least 65 people, including 35 children, have been displaced, said Christopher Holt of the West Bank Protection Consortium, a group of European Union-sponsored international aid agencies.

The demolition left many villagers, earning a living by herding 4,000 sheep, homeless. The EU has in the past helped to rebuild homes after the devastation.

Under the Oslo alliance, the Jordanian region, which makes up 60% of the occupied West Bank, is known as Area C – meaning it is in the hands of Israeli soldiers and civilians.

It was the sixth time that the building had been demolished since November 2020, when – according to the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) – 83 houses were destroyed on the major catastrophic events in recent years.

Some temporary housing and farm housing were provided by the European Union. Humsa al-Baqai’a has received material aid from the West Bank Protection Consortium, designed to prevent the forced relocation of Palestinians to the West Bank.

Holt said the families refused to leave the area.

“We understand what happened this morning and that the Israeli army entered the area at 9 a.m. and destroyed everything in the area, including eight dormitories, lodges, and farmhouses,” he told Al Jazeera.

“Israeli forces have tried to force the relocation of the families, which is illegal because these live in the area and families refuse to leave … Great growth.”

A Israeli security official said the government had held months-long negotiations with the people and relocated some areas nearby. The official, who was not allowed to speak in public, told the Associated Press to be offered a new position.

Under international law, regulators are prohibited from transporting illegal residents.

Last February, Israeli forces recaptured tanks, after which demolishing houses two times ago in the same month, leaving the community without drinking water or water for their animals.

Families in Humsa al-Baqai’a currently have no shelter at 39-degree-Celsius (102-Fahrenheit) in the Jordan Valley.

The village is one of 38 Bedouin territories partially or completely in the territory that Israel has declared a military base.

According to the UN’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the “fire station” known as “30% of Area C where 6,200 Bedouin people live.

These areas are among the most vulnerable in the West Bank, with limited access to basic services such as water, sanitation, electricity, education and health services.

Palestinian homes in the Jordan Valley are being destroyed by Israeli authorities who say they have been detained without permission.

The Jordan Valley area covers approximately 395,368 hectares (160,000 hectares) with about 13,000 Israeli residents living in 38 settlements. Currently, about 65,000 Palestinians live in 34 areas.
