The Stonewall Inn, which was considered to be the birthplace of gay rights in the United States, will not sell alcoholic beverages made by brewery Anheuser-Busch from June 25 to 27 at the end of NYC Pride, thanks to donations from manufacturing companies rules.

The popular New York City LGBT + Stonewall Inn said it would pour Bud Light and Stella Artois’ beer this week to cancel the company’s donations to lawmakers who supported loans that paid for transgender rights.

The Greenwich Village pub, known as the only gay rights club in the United States, has stopped selling all alcoholic beverages made by the brewery Anheuser-Busch on June 25-27 at NYC Pride weekend.

According to Keep Your Pride, a LGBT + campaign that oversees corporate donations, Anheuser-Busch has donated 48 donations of $ 35,350 from 2015 to 29 lawmakers who funded reforms on the issue of eviction rights.

Anheuser-Busch, a major brewery in the United States and another company based in Anheuser-Busch InBev, Belgium, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

He did not comment publicly on the political contributions made by Keep Your Pride.

Stonewall Inn co-owner Stacy Lentz said the “pour” show would take place on Wednesday.

“You can’t turn your private rainbow into a movie, invite your friends, and then turn around and make offerings that cause hatred,” Lentz said in a statement.

“There are no excuses, and companies like Anheuser-Busch should follow through on what they have done,” he added.

More than 250 LGBT + funds have been introduced in state law this year, with 18 being signed into law, according to the Human Rights Campaign, a LGBT + advocacy group.

Many laws passed banning children from competing in sports, while others prohibited medical treatment for adolescents and allowed parents to select LGBT + related topics for their children from school.

The lawmakers say they want to protect the rights of girls and women in school sports and prevent young people from making medical decisions that they may worry about in the future.
