NASA’s Swift Observatory may have failed to direct attention

NASA at Neil Gehrels Swift Observatory has faced challenges after 17 years of excellent service. A circular explorer is he entered safe after detecting “possible failure” in one of the six wheels used to change the mind. While it is not clear what (if anything) is wrong, NASA has suspended the observations of scientists until it can provide more specific information or continue working with five wheels.

This is the first case since the Swift Observatory became operational in February 2005, NASA said. The rest of the car is working properly.

The Swift Observatory has been a major contributor to astronomy over the past two decades. It was made especially for recognition gamma-ray explosion and detects about 70 per day. However, it has been widely used as a spectacle-view on a number of waves, seeing sunlight and hard-to-find stars. NASA would not be in big trouble if Swift had a permanent problem, but it would be better to keep the ship running as smoothly as you could.
