Sony’s DualSense controller is now working with Apple devices on PS5 remote games

You can use the DualSense controller to play PS5 games on Apple devices after switching to the latest version of PS Remote Play app for iOS. Sony has unveiled the possibility of iPhones running iOS14.5 and iPads running iPadOS 14.5, giving you the option to choose DualSense instead of the main DualShock controller if you wish. Even if you choose to use a new controller, you will not get all the information on remote games.

According to About and several PS5 players on Reddit, you will be able to enjoy a game with updates on how it should be played on an iOS device. The availability of haptics, however, can be meaningless. It seems to fit in with the correct haptic responses, but not very well on topics such as Control. Seeing how the answers are affected ends come on knowledge of the game, its absence can make some games more fun than it would be with the team. In addition, About says built-in DualSense microphones, headphones and speakers also do not work on remote games.

Without proper feedback and mic / speaker support, switching from DualShock to DualSense would not make much difference. However, you now have the opportunity to use the new version with iPhones and iPads, and Sony can upgrade the app to ensure that the DualSense format is properly implemented in the future.
