Simone Biles Wins Copper At Balance Beam At Tokyo Olympics

Simone Biles won a bronze medal Tuesday in the final fitness event, her first event since leaving several competitions for psychological reasons.
Last Tuesday, Biles is left in the middle of the final team after stumbling during room time. Wednesday, USA Gymnastics he announced that Biles also gave up public competition “to take care of his mental health.”
“We wholeheartedly support Simone’s decision and appreciate his courage in putting his life first,” USA Gymnastics said in a statement at the time. “His courage also shows why he is a role model for many.”
As the rest of the Olympic Games progress, it is unknown whether the Biles will be able to compete again, but on Monday USA Gymnastics announced that they will return to the Olympic stage at a reasonable price on Tuesday – the final event for women’s gymnastics.
Biles came down well while the players cheered him on. He won 14,000, and won Biles his seventh Olympic medal. These relationships he and Shannon Miller have won many Olympic medals in the history of athletics in the US.
“I was proud to be out of action after my experience,” Biles said he said after that.
Biles also won a bronze medal at the lowest level at the Rio Olympics in 2016 – along with four gold medals at the Games.
This year’s bronze was “really good,” Biles said. “I really like this after all I’ve been through,” he said.
“It means more than all the gold because I’ve been through it for the past five years and last week I’m here,” he said. Biles said on Today Show.
Chinese Guan Chenchen and Tang Xijing won gold and silver respectively.
