I don’t think one of the coolest things at CES 2022 would be so far away. And yet, here we are. Thanks, Samsung. Seriously, Samsung’s remote is very good.

Let’s go back for a second to CES 2021. There, Samsung released Eco Remote stored solar power which was used to recharge the internal battery. This year’s model, combined with the use of solar energy, could turn the routers ’radio waves into power, ensuring that it is more efficient.

Radio waves from routers are often not used because they can be good for very low-end devices. It seems far from ideal – you do not need a lot of energy to use it, and it stays quiet for a long time, allowing it to increase.

Harvesting radio waves it is not a strange concept, but the process often goes into real things that you and I can use. Now, remote cannot work on RF power alone; The advanced Eco Remote also uses solar power from indoor or indoor lighting and has a USB-C port as an adapter.

As Samsung pointed out in a previous example, using solar power alone could prevent 99 million batteries from being wasted in seven years, or mid-life TV.

Aside from its friendliness and affordability, the Eco Remote is as remote as any other. At the front are all your fixed buttons, including shortcuts for popular game like Disney +, Netflix, and Prime Video. And when we talk about saving the environment, the Eco Remote is made with recycled materials, and this year, it comes in a brand new white.

Best of all, the Eco Remote is not a marketing ploy designed to increase interest; Samsung says the new remote will be integrated into all of its 2022 TVs.
