Russia has imposed a small fine on foreign companies this year, but Friday’s sanctions are the first time the company has paid an annual interest rate for Russian companies, increasing the fine.
It did not say how much, although Reuters news agency reports show that Google’s efficiency is about 8 percent.
Russia has ordered companies to remove records that promote the use of drugs and dangerous games, information on home-made weapons and explosives, as well as those of so-called terrorists or “terrorists”.
Google, which has fined more than $ 434,560 for breaking this year’s content, is at odds with Moscow over several issues.
