‘Real and existent dangers’: Sydney has launched new COVID | | Coronavirus News Plague

The ban affects about five million people after Delta-related cases, while neighboring New Zealand is raising interest.

Residents of Sydney, Australia’s largest city, have been ordered to stay in the city, with government officials arguing over a number of cases of Delta’s coronavirus – a development that has drawn the interest of nearby New Zealand from visitors from Australia.

New South Wales (NSW) Prime Minister Gladys Berejiklian announced the ban – which affects about five million people living and working in the city – on Wednesday.

“Obviously this is changing,” Berejiklian told a news conference.

The rules came into effect at 4pm Sydney time (06:00 GMT) and have been in effect for a week.

“In view of the developments, the NSW government will take action today to reduce the spread of the COVID virus.”

NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard described the situation as “real and existent” in the city as the initial crackdown on Bondi coast increased to 21 cases when eight were confirmed Wednesday morning.

Most of the newly confirmed ones were followed at a single ceremony, when a general meeting was held on Tuesday.

“This is a new and very dangerous virus,” Hazzard told a news conference.

The new restrictions also include a five-person home visit, including children, Berejiklian said.

Wearing a mask, which was restored on Friday, will be complemented by people who need to wear masks in both outdoor homes and outdoor events. These methods also include restrictions on public transportation and gymnasiums, where singing in public places, including places of worship, is not permitted.

Officials are also urging people to come for testing.

“If we follow the health rules today, we will have a better chance of success in this outbreak,” Berejiklian told reporters.

As of Wednesday, Australia had recorded more than 30,300 cases and 910 deaths.

The country has become one of the world’s most famous epidemics, allowing it to open up its borders to New Zealand.

But new cases are trying flow bubble among neighbors.

On Wednesday, New Zealand raised its epidemic in Wellington to two, which is one of the lowest.

In the past, visitors from Australia who visited the country’s capital over the weekend tried to find COVID after returning to Sydney.

“These are the security measures that will remain when we can connect and test all that we need,” said New Zealand’s COVID Minister Chris Hipkins.

Under the warning level, offices, schools and businesses are allowed to open, but people are required to follow social media rules.

Meetings of more than 100 people are forbidden, including weddings and other parties.

New Zealand has a population of five million, and recorded 2,720 cases and 26 deaths. The country has established a recovery of 98.2%.

In Australia, Queensland and Victoria have both closed their borders to people in Sydney.
