Conquered East Jerusalem – Israeli forces have shot dead a Palestinian man after threatening to kill an Israeli citizen and injuring three others, including two police officers.
The violence took place Sunday morning in Old City, from Bab al-Silsila (Chain Gate) to the village of Al-Aqsa Mosque, East Jerusalem.
According to local reports, a Palestinian man identified as 42-year-old Fadi Abu Shkheidem, a resident of the Shuafat refugee camp in Jerusalem.
The resident, in his 30s, suffered head injuries and bruises after being rushed to hospital, Israeli media reported.
An Israeli activist, 46, was in stable condition, according to Hadassah Medical Center. Two police officers, aged 30 and 31, were also slightly injured.
