High school students in England will need to wear face masks when returning to classes after the Christmas holidays.

Bulgaria has identified the first 12 cases of Omicron coronavirus, Balkan health chief Angel Kunchev said.
“We have confirmed the new types of 12 people,” Kunchev told reporters.
Kunchev said people living with the virus, especially from Sofia’s capital, were experiencing frailties and no one had been hospitalized.
Thousands of protesters marched on Amsterdam
Thousands of people did not obey the ban on gathering in the Amsterdam Square to protest against the Dutch government’s ban on coronavirus.
Dutch capital officials banned the protests, saying police had demonstrations in which protests could be “planned for violence”.
India is reporting more than 27,000 cases
Disease in India has risen sharply in the fifth day following 27,553 cases of COVID in the last 24 hours.
