A number of women are expected to form the next Dutch government after the upcoming agreement released a list of ministers and government secretaries on Sunday.

The four-party deal will be sworn in on January 10 after a December-ending deal – a record 271 days after the March election – to give Prime Minister Mark Rutte a fourth term in office.
Dilan Yesilgoz-Zegerius, a native of Ankara, is expected to become a minister of justice and security. The 43-year-old boy, who came to the Netherlands as a teenager, was elected by the People’s Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD), Rutte.
The new interior minister, Kajsa Ollongren, will be the new security minister.
Christian Democratic politician Wopke Hoekstra will be the new foreign minister.
Former finance minister and right-wing leader Wopke Hoekstra, known for his spending on finance, has become a foreign minister. Former Foreign Minister Sigrid Kaag will be replaced by a short exchequer.
The appointment of a finance minister is closely monitored as the Netherlands appears to be one of the “non-partisan” member states of the European Union along with Austria, Denmark and Sweden who are competing with other countries on the EU budget.
The former Arabic-speaking ambassador, Kaag is a rare example of a Dutch politician who is better known in other countries than his homeland.
He served as United Nations special envoy to Lebanon in 2015-2017, and before that he led a UN operation monitoring the disarmament of Syria.
Ernst Kuipers, who was responsible for moving coronavirus patients around the country, has replaced Hugo de Jonge as health minister.
These organizations have agreed to spend billions on climate change, as well as to improve housing and social order.
