Netherlands to enter the troubled COVID Lockdown area from Sunday | Coronavirus Plague News

All unwanted shops must be closed until January 14 and the meetings are open to two persons only.

The Netherlands will be tightly closed from Sunday morning to reduce the risk of COVID-19 operation due to the Omicron brand, Prime Minister Mark Rutte said.

Rutte told a press conference on Saturday that all unwanted shops, restaurants, bars, theaters, museums and theaters should be closed until January 14, while schools should be closed until January 9th.

The only shops that are considered essential – such as supermarkets and drug stores – are the ones that do not have orders.

The number of guests allowed to enter their home is also reduced from four to two, except on Christmas Day.

Outdoor gatherings are also for two people only.

“I’m standing here tonight in a state of shock,” Rutte said. “The Netherlands will return to Lockdown from tomorrow. It is inevitable that the fifth hurricane and Omicron will spread faster than we fear. Now we must step in as a defense.”

Rutte said the announcement was based on a pre-existing closure that required bars, restaurants and other public places such as movie theaters and theaters to close at 5pm.

Failure to take action here could lead to “hospital problems”, which have already reduced the standard of care for COVID-19 patients, “said Rutte.

The leader of the Dutch plague control team, Jaap van Dissel, told a news conference that the Omicron species would continue to challenge the Delta to become larger in the Netherlands by the end of the year.

The World Health Organization (WHO) said on Saturday that Omicron’s differences were spread very fast than the Delta crisis in countries with a history of community outreach, with the number of cases doubling in 1.5 to three days.

Significant changes are spreading rapidly in countries with adequate human protection, the WHO said, but it is unclear whether this was due to the virus’ ability to escape security, spread or combine both.
