NASA’s Curiosity Shows Us The Rainy, Various Days on Mars

Clouds are a rarity on Mars and usually only emerge during the coldest seasons of the year near the Earth’s equator. One year ago the Martian, NASA detected clouds in the sky above Curiosity’s curious viewer and decided to record them the following year. In recent months, The interest began to work, photographing amazing images which shows us the rainy days the clouds are on the Red Planet and expands our understanding of how clouds are formed far, far away.

NASA refers to these unexpected clouds only as “original” clouds at this time. Mu to announce, NASA says the Curiosity team has already discovered something new about the early clouds in the rover images: They are at a higher altitude than ever. Non-cloud-based experts, even in my defense I think the clouds are the best-they may not realize how important it is at first, but it is an important distinction that makes us aware of what clouds are made of.

As reported by NASA, most of the clouds on Mars are usually 40 miles[60 km]above sea level and are covered with ice. The so-called primary clouds, however, are located at very high and very cold places, which means that they are either made of cold air, or dry ice. NASA did not specify the height of the original clouds in the spectacular images.

“Scientists are looking for hidden ways to determine the height of the cloud, and further analysis may be needed to determine which of Curiosity’s most recent images of ice and ice clouds,” the agency said in a statement.

In addition to discovering more about the so-called early clouds, NASA has also seen some of the most beautiful clouds on Mars: spectacular clouds and surrounding clouds.

Using navigation cameras, NASA’s Curiosity Mars rover captured images of clouds as soon as the sun set on March 31, 2021, on the 3,075th day, or Martian day of missions.

In pictures above, taken by black and white motion cameras, We can see the beautiful houses, just floating in the clouds. These clouds are known as the cold clouds, which in Latin mean “night light,” or evening clouds, these clouds “shine brightly when they fill with crystals, and then darken after the sun’s position in the sky does not fall to the ground,” says NASA. Scientists use the knowledge of solar eclipses to calculate the age of winter clouds.

You can really appreciate the amazing beauty of these clouds in the pictures below, which makes it look like there are waves in the Martian sky.

Curiosity not only led us to see meaningless clouds, however. Rover, through photos taken with his MastCam, He also showed us that clouds on Mars can glow with colors. These are called clouds iridescent, or “mother of pearl”, and are some of the most beautiful things you will see on Mars.

“If you see a cloud with bright colors inside, it’s because all the particles are so similar,” said Mark Lemmon, a space scientist at Space Science Institute in Boulder, Colorado, in a NASA announcement. “This usually happens as soon as the clouds start and everything grows evenly.”

The pictures of the fascinating cloud give us new ideas of Mars. At a time when helicopter riders and our helicopters are sending us beautiful pictures of the world’s rocks, Curiosity shows us that the planet may be more beautiful than we think. That’s right another reminder The former NASA pilot, who is currently covered by the new Perseverance rover business light and Ingenuity helicopter, may be old, but still doing amazing science.
