Israeli forces kill Palestinian officers in ‘secret’ | Middle East News

At least three Palestinians have been killed, including two militants, in an Israeli offensive in the city of Jenin, seized by the West Bank.

Israeli forces have killed at least three Palestinian civilians, including two Palestinian Authority (PA) officers, in an earlier attack on the West Bank city of Jenin, Palestinian officials said on Thursday.

The Palestinian health ministry has identified the two supervisors, Adham Yasser Alawi, 23, and Tayseer Issa, 32, as dead Palestinian journalists, adding that the third victim was Jamil al-Amuri, who was being held in Israeli prisons.

A Palestinian officer, Muhammad al-Bazour, 23, was critically injured in an ambush in Israel and was transferred to an Israeli hospital, according to Wafa.

An affiliated online video of the Associated Press had the opportunity to show Palestinian police hiding in the back of a car while gunshots were heard in the background. Someone shouts that he is being exchanged with the Israeli “secret” army.

Israeli media have also reported that al-Amuri was a former prisoner and a member of the Islamic Jihad of Palestine, but this has not been confirmed from Palestinian officials.

Commenting from East Jerusalem, Harry Fawcett of Al Jazeera said the incident took place “in the shelter of a private car.”

“It is understood that (Israeli forces) were fighting a single member of the Islamic State Jihad.

“One boy was killed during the operation, and another was injured and taken away by Israeli forces. The victim is believed to be a member of the PIJ, “Fawcett said.

According to reports, the second person arrested was a Palestinian man named Wissam Abu Zaid. He is said to have been arrested for the crime.

The Great Depression of Israel ‘

Palestinian Presidential spokesman Mahmoud Abbas has condemned the so-called “dangerous escalation of Israel”, saying the trio were killed by Israeli special forces who disguised themselves as Palestinians while under arrest.

The Prophet, Nabil Abu Rudaina, called on countries and the United States to take action to end the threat.

There are conflicting reports on what happened.

The Israeli military and police did not immediately respond to a request for comment. However, an Israeli official secretly told Reuters news agency Palestinian police had been killed in a fire.

“Witnesses on the ground say that Israeli forces also opened fire on a Palestinian army – which was located near the site, outside their barracks,” said Fawcett’s Al Jazeera.

“Israeli media reports speak of their return to Israel but as it turned out, two soldiers were killed and a third was seriously injured and taken to an Israeli hospital as a result.

“This is another case of Palestinian military spies killed by Israeli soldiers in the West Bank,” he added.

Under a peace treaty signed in the 1990s, PA has the right to self-determination in the dispersed territories that together make up 40% of the existing West Bank. Israel has the responsibility of overseeing security in the West Bank and often engages in terrorist attacks in PA-controlled Palestinian cities and towns.

Under the 1993 agreement in Oslo, PA and who should share more with Israel of any weapons against the occupation of Israel in a process known as the “security alliance”, which was suspended slightly last year Israel is ready to take over the West Bank.

Hamas, which controls the Gaza Strip, has criticized PA for the so-called “security alliance”. Many Hamas members have been arrested for collaborating with the PA and Israeli authorities.

Israeli forces often carry out terrorist attacks in the West Bank. On May 25, Israeli forces killed a Palestinian man during a riot near Ramallah.

Palestinian journalists also report that after leaving the Israeli army in Jenin, Israel sent its gates north into the Palestinian city.

Funeral services will be held Thursday later for the three Palestinian men who were killed. There have also been calls for destruction in Palestinian cities.

This comes just weeks after unrest was confirmed following the 11-day Israeli war in the Gaza Strip that left more than 250 Palestinians dead, including 66 children.

At least 12 people have been killed in Israel by rockets fired by Palestinian forces.
