Television will be the first news outlet in Israel to be established in the UAE since the relationship was established last year.
Israeli i24News TV has announced plans to open an office in Dubai, the first since the relationship between Israel and the United Arab Emirates was established last year.
“Over the past year, we have seen changes in regional regulations that facilitate business connectivity and opportunities for collaboration,” Frank Melloul, chief executive of i24News, said on Monday.
“The establishment of our office in Dubai Media City gives us a way to support the media in the Middle East from the heart to the media in the region,” he said.
The video also announced a number of agreements with the UAE, including a temporary exchange with the Gulf News daily publisher, as well as advertisements from the UAE ministry of tourism.
Mona Al Marri, director-general of the Government of Dubai Media Office, welcomed the “establishment of cooperation between the UAE and Israeli media groups”.
Majed Al Suwaidi, director of Dubai Media City, said adding i24News to the site “increases the global economy”.

Two Emirati operators, Etisalat and DU, will carry supplies from i24News, which publishes in Arabic, English and French.
In December, a road in the Israeli coastal city of Tel Aviv signed an agreement with Abu Dhabi Media to explain his writings and preserve them.
The government of Dubai Media Incorporate has signed an agreement with i24News to collaborate on product development, advanced TV expertise and employee exchange programs.
Video and Dubai Media Incorporate also said they are linking their media with the “Fiber of Peace” watch line connecting the Gulf to Israel to share more.
Under what the United States did to Abraham Abraham last year, Israel established relations with the UAE, Bahrain, Morocco while Sudan followed suit earlier this year. Prior to this, Egypt and Jordan were the only Arab states that had alliance with Israel.
The Palestinian people have criticized the long-running alliance when it violated several years of Arab League rule, which said there should be no ties with Israel until it stopped occupying Palestinian territories and accepting an independent Palestinian state.
Israel has already signed an agreement between the UAE and Bahrain, from tourism to air travel and economic activities.
This month, the first Emirate student began studying at an Israeli university.
