Speakers at the UN COP26 summit in Glasgow have reached a new agreement on climate change after last-minute action by India to reduce language barriers to reducing carbon emissions.
Several countries including small islands said they were “deeply disappointed” by what was happening on Saturday to “reduce,” not “eliminate” coal power, which is a major source of greenhouse gas emissions.
