A former military reporter was fired for helping to protect his brother and former New York governor Andrew Cuomo from harassment.
CNN has fired anchor and journalist Chris Cuomo during an investigation to help his brother, former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, deal with sexual offenses.
In a statement on Saturday, the network said “other information” came to light during Cuomo’s involvement in his brother’s case.
Cuomo, 51, who co-hosted the CNN screening program, was present suspension Tuesday.
He admitted in May that he had broken the rules of the cable news network by advising his brother on how to deal with the cases from the public.

In a statement on Twitter, Cuomo said he was disappointed.
“This is not how I want my time at CNN to end, but I have already told you why and how I helped my brother,” she said.
