British Brexit Prime Minister David Frost has resigned out of frustration with the Boris Johnson administration, which has led to a major crisis for Prime Minister in the face of the Omicron genocide.

The resignation of Frost, the main builder of Johnson’s Brexit disruption strategy, raised questions about the future of the European Union divorce and recent negotiations in Northern Ireland. It also added to the tensions in the Johnson Conservative government.

Frost said he was confident Brexit was safe but said he was concerned about what the government was doing.

“You know my concerns about recent travel,” Frost told Johnson in a letter released by Downing Street on Saturday.

“I hope we can move as fast as we can to where we need to go: lower taxes, lower taxes, business, the end of modern science and economic transformation.”

His resignation was first reported by The Mail on Sunday, which was said to have been prompted by Johnson’s restrictions on COVID-19 as well as widespread dissatisfaction with rising taxes and the cost of natural resources.

Frost said he had agreed with Johnson earlier this month to leave in January, but because his move was delayed, it should be done immediately.

“We also need to learn to have COVID,” Frost said. “I hope we can come back soon without being tempted by the coercive methods we’ve seen elsewhere.”

Johnson said he was saddened to receive Frost’s resignation.

‘Buffonery’

The departure of the United Kingdom’s top negotiator in Brexit comes on the heels of warnings from some members of the Johnson Conservative Party that he should step down or face challenges.

Johnson, who won a landslide victory in December 2019, is facing a major crisis in his cabinet after a series of defamatory and erroneous remarks, which his opponents say show he does not deserve to be Prime Minister.

Angela Rayner, deputy leader of the opposition Labor Party, said Johnson could not work because the Omicron variant causes coronavirus infection.

“The government is in danger as the country faces several uncertain weeks,” Rayner wrote on television. “We have to do better than this pride.”

Johnson has been criticized since the video appeared to show his staff laughing and joking about the Downing Street party during the close of Christmas 2020 when such celebrations were banned.

Downing Street denied that the party had taken place. A UK government official, Simon Case, has resigned from the lead of a study of alleged suspected incidents in his office.

The loss of a parliamentary seat in the by-elections in the Conservative region of North Shropshire this week has highlighted public outrage over the massacre and pressure on Johnson.

Earlier, 99 Conservative MPs voted against so-called vaccination passports in the House of Commons, a major uprising in Johnson’s two and a half years as prime minister.

Frost, a former ambassador to whom Johnson repeatedly hailed him as “the greatest Frost since the Great Frost of 1709,” was a volunteer for Brexit who discussed Johnson’s reform efforts in the EU and trade agreements.

He voted in the 2016 UK vote to leave the EU as part of a bloc’s coup d’état aimed at reviving the country.

Having such a “Brexit believer” at the heart of the UK’s power encouraged Brexit supporters in the Conservative Party that Johnson would remain steadfast in the EU.

Frost, until his resignation, led a London trial to discuss further issues regarding the divorce agreement in Northern Ireland.

Beyond Brexit, however, 56-year-old Frost was unhappy.

In his remarks last month, Frost expressed his dissatisfaction with the UK post-Brexit policy.

“We did not really benefit the European Union from Britain and Brexit, but called for a European model after all this time,” Frost said in a November 22 speech at the Margaret Thatcher Conference on Trade.

He disagreed with “those who think we can do public service as a way to improve public services.”

“It’s not just taxes,” Frost says. “We cannot continue as before, and if after Brexit what we do is to bring in European culture we will not succeed.”
