“America will start a holiday very different from last summer,” Biden said.

“Freedom Summer, Summer Summer, Summer Summit and Fun – the entire American Summer this country deserves for the long, long and dark summer we have all endured.”

Although about 52% of older adults in the U.S. are already vaccinated, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the U.S. President encouraged older people under the age of 40 to receive more vaccines.

To encourage more people to get vaccinated, Biden said in June, vaccination centers such as pharmacies provide jabs for longer hours, childcare services will be provided to parents, and Uber and Lyft can provide free riders to and from stops.

“It’s easier than ever to get vaccinated,” he said, adding that the government would work with barbers and barbers to reach out to ethnic groups.

“Local barber, stylists – are the best vaccine promoters in the area, providing information to clients, keeping them on time, and even using their businesses as a vaccine,” Biden said.

Biden said cases of COVID-19, as well as hospitalization and mortality associated with coronavirus, have dropped dramatically as a result of vaccination. Twelve U.S. states have already reached a peak of 70%, he added, with many more expected by the end of this week.

The US has issued an emergency permission three vaccines – Pfizer, Moderna and one Johnson & Johnson gun – and Americans over 12 years they are also eligible for vaccination.

Biden also said Wednesday that Vice President Kamala Harris, her husband Doug Emhoff, and First Lady Jill Biden will travel around the country “on a national vaccination trip”.

“We want everyone across the region to come together and finish it,” he said. “I promise you we can do this.”
