Max Verstappen defeated Lewis Hamilton in the final round of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday to win his first Formula One World Cup.
Max Verstappen won the Formula One international championship from Lewis Hamilton on Sunday and won the Abu Dhabi GP final.
Mercedes performed two demonstrations after the race, which was canceled four hours after the race and Verstappen’s first international competition.
Hamilton led 51 of the 58 appearances and only walked five times around Yas Marina Circuit to avoid Michael Schumacher in the record books and the eighth edition on Sunday. The breakup then gave Verstappen and Red Bull a chance to finish.

Responding to the controversy, former Damon Hill expert said this was a “new way of running the game”.

Verstappen passed the fifth inning and Hamilton fired the final shot. He pulled his Mercedes even with the Red Bull in nine seasons but could not recognize Verstappen, who went on to become the first Dutch international champion.

Verstappen reiterated that he wanted the national administration not to participate in the final round, but after Masi did so, it pleased Verstappen and the final contestant to choose the title.

‘Critical times hard to deal with’
So far, Hamilton has not participated in the post-match press conference with Verstappen and third-place finisher Carlos Sainz.
He did one interview in front of the winners and praised Verstappen and Red Bull.
Hamilton, who turns 37 next month, has won three consecutive races coming to an end to drop all 19 points from Verstappen’s lead in the standings.

“It’s been a very difficult season. I’m very proud of them, very grateful to be with them on this trip. We gave everything, we didn’t give up and that’s the most important thing,” Hamilton said.
