De Villiers has announced his retirement from cricket after 17 years with over 20,000 runs.
Former South African AB de Villiers veteran has said he has decided to retire from cricket for any reason because he has lost his hunger for the game and has spent 17 years in the country making himself one of the best in the country.
“It was an amazing trip, but I decided to take a break from the whole cricket,” de Villiers said in a tweet.
“Ever since we played with my older brothers, I have played this game with great pleasure and enthusiasm. Now, at age 37, I do not even notice the flames anymore. ”

De Villiers retired from the 2018 World Cup but is considering a return to the junior team in the 2021 Twenty20 World Cup before deciding to play for the Proteas.
He participated in cricket, the last game in the Indian Premier League (IPL) at Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The RCB described his retirement as “end of time” after ten years with the South Indian side.
Often nicknamed “Mr 360” for his versatile shooting that reached all corners of the frontier, de Villiers played 114 Tests, 228 ODIs and 78 T20 internationals in South Africa, throwing more than 20,000 rounds in three rounds.
In South Africa, we have four of the most popular ODIs for the 2015 ODI, covering three of the 31’s 149 lands in the West Indies in Johannesburg in 2015, and 16 and 9 borders.
India’s Virat Kohli, who described his RCB de Villiers’ colleague as “the most successful in the IPL”, said his idea of retirement was “heartbreaking” but he knew it was designed to remind the family.
