Universal Movies has made its mark on Peacock

As of 2022, Universal movies have been available on Peacock first instead of HBO. That means next Jurassic World it’s new Halloween The video will feature their TV appearances on a search service hosted by parent company Comcast. According to Variety and Wall Street Journal, Universal videos will appear on Peacock for publication within four months of release, as well as within the last four months of the 18-month window.
For the next 10 months, the videos will be licensed for two or three other people, though no one will have access to the video. Universal has not yet released a list of other colleagues, and it is unknown whether HBO is one of them. Variety says that based on the TV distribution schedule, Universal hopes to avoid overcrowding or making its movies look like a temporary setback. In addition, advertising platforms seem to be ready to pay millions for popular movies today to test the rise of rivals out there.
Whether this move will bring in interest for Peacock subscribers remains unclear. Comcast made search work available to viewers a month ago by releasing the software Amazon Fire TV and tablets and Samsung Smart TVs.
