After releasing the interface on Android last month, Facebook features WhatsApp which automatically removes text and notes on iOS via the new beta, according to the WhatsApp info page WABetaInfo. Unlike missing WhatsApp messages, which are deleted after seven days, the photos and videos that are sent using the interface only once will expire as soon as you close. The sender will be notified of their videos being viewed.
As WABetaInfo notes, nothing stops users from filming the broadcast and you will not be notified if the recipient does so. As a recipient, you would not prevent the sender from being notified when you open the message, either.
