Missing WhatsApp messages come to iOS

After releasing the interface on Android last month, Facebook features WhatsApp which automatically removes text and notes on iOS via the new beta, according to the WhatsApp info page WABetaInfo. If you subscribe to the beta version at 2.21.140.9 on Testflight, you will be able to post self-deprecating images and videos as soon as they are viewed and removed. Users of the “one-time view” option will see the time-bound volunteer button in the add-on section, as shown in the WABetaInfo window below.

Unlike missing WhatsApp messages, which are deleted after seven days, the photos and videos that are sent using the interface only once will expire as soon as you close. The sender will be notified of their videos being viewed.

As WABetaInfo notes, nothing stops users from filming the broadcast and you will not be notified if the recipient does so. As a recipient, you would not prevent the sender from being notified when you open the message, either.

WhatsApp has been promoting the service as a way to encourage open and transparent communication. Parental Facebook he has already said the option may be blocked from users who have not received their new privacy information, but only afterwards back to back on election.
