The 65% Razer game keyboard is a solid solution that needs to be refined

With everyone working and playing in a stressful environment, the shape of the keyboard has made them more compact. Major species such as Corsair, HyperX and Razer has unveiled 60-box, cake-looking machines with arrows and a pad of numbers to take up less space on your desk. But having a low profile poses a challenge for those who rely heavily on keys, and users are now forced to learn different hotkeys to move their cursor or shape around. Razer heard their complaints and in response created a file of BlackWidow V3 Mini Hyperspeed, a $ 180 65% keyboard that carries a few missing keys while maintaining a low profile.

What does 65% mean, exactly? There is no right-hand pad, and there are no working keys on top. To use F1 – F12 you have to hit the bottom right button before pressing one of the buttons on the top row to find any macros under the control. The main difference between this keyboard and 60% of the keyboard is on the right side of the ship, with one key line connected to the right. Then erase, leaf up, page down, insert with the right arrow. The three-arrow switch chamber was designed to reduce the size of the switch, alt, functionality and to adjust the key width of the keycap. When you find it smaller, there are longer colors on the left side of the board.

The BlackWidow V3 Mini Hyperspeed is not completely updated, however. Like other models in the BlackWidow line, it has small-inch-wide lips at the end for users. It is not enough for us to use it as a hand rest and, although we may be quiet, some solid places do not have one. It just feels so special and intuitive on the keyboard when everything else was designed to look great.

This also includes a wireless dongle, which comes from the ground. It’s smaller – smaller than Logitech’s Unifying Receiver, which is about the size of my image. Although his room is small and disappears easily, that’s why I spent a few minutes unpacking the box to search for the adapter before I saw a small profile under the keyboard.

Growth is not the only idea that Razer’s dongle is similar to what Logitech offers. The same USB adapter can also be used by the company Orochi V2 mouse, loosening the dock on your machine. Bluetooth is also available, due to times when you do not want to disconnect the 2.4G receiver, or you do not have USB-A to USB-C manually.

Yes, once again, this is a game add-on that only features USB-A ports in a world where more machines are switching to Type-C smaller ones. It made sense when most game developers used large long ports with ports, but with so many people and companies limiting their machines, the USB-C approach would have been better. Especially when you notice that most wireless receivers do not work properly when connected and plugged in and need to be plugged directly into a laptop that only has two ports and one is required for power supply.

All wireless bridges, in particular, are very strong, as is the case with writing. The BlackWidow V3 Mini Hyperspeed is available in two Razer company variants: yellow, compact and silent, as well as green, which is durable and easy to use. I have chosen the first one and I can assure you that it is not too loud, even if you are looking for something more relaxed you should choose a regular color. I’ve been using the Huntsman Mini before this, which uses Razer’s opto-mechanical switches. The feel of this is a little softer and lighter than the BlackWidow V3 Mini, which I like the loud and light feel of BlackWidow. Your mileage varies, yes.

All in all, the BlackWidow V3 Mini Hyperspeed is a good keyboard. I like the combination of 60-boxboards but I often write due to the lack of dedicated keys, especially when translating words. And with so many key game players instead of the WASD team, gamers who opt for a smaller keyboard won’t be at risk. The 65 percent design saves the essentials and still has a low track record. I’m not a big fan of this setting.
