Apple is probably not the only talented giant with pay per podcast soon. Wall Street Journal sources says Spotify will unveil its paid podcast program sometime “next week.” Unlike its counterpart, Spotify cannot pay fees or cut all subscribers. Podcasters can make their own prices, adding tipsters.
Users of the Spotify iOS app are said to have been taken to a web site to complete the sale, rejecting what Apple shares on the App Store. We can’t assume that Apple favors it in this way, though Spotify can rely on it Investigate the contradictions upset Apple’s response.
Spotify has not confirmed its plans, but chief marketing and marketing officer Dawn Ostroff said there is “everyone’s place” in the audience.
Patreon, Release Pocket, Stitcher and Amazon wonders all provided pre-paid podcasts. Apple and Spotify are able to quickly enter the market, however, as long as there is enough interest in paying for the podcast content first.
While time is not limited, Spotify reports show how highly competitive they are with Apple in the podcast. Both see this as their opportunity to expand their careers and control the zeitgeist culture the only manifestations. For Apple, there is a key to success – the podcast brand has a name for the iPod, and the company would not want to lose its power as it was designed.
