Qatar Emir has set up a three-day event to discuss global leadership in the aftermath of the epidemic and economic growth.

The Emir of Qatar has officially opened the Qatar Economic Summit 2021, which will outline global leadership and strategies to support post-epidemic economic growth.

The three-day event held in partnership with Bloomberg under the slogan “New Horizons for Tomorrow” began on Monday and will bring together more than 100 world leaders, ambassadors, students and business people.

Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar said in his opening remarks that the occasion “represents the beginning of a series of meetings aimed at promoting global economic dialogue and moving on to the next phase of COVID-19”.

Al Thani said while public action against the coronavirus was “essential”, efforts should also include government agencies and business organizations and should be coordinated around the world.

Emir also called on world leaders to work together to ensure that the vaccine is fair and equitable in a way that is conducive to economic and economic development in line with global development goals for the betterment and stability of our people ”.

Ghanaian President Nana Akufo, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Rwandan President Paul Kagame, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, Senegalese President Macky Sall, and Armenian President Armen Sarkissian are among the more than 100 speakers taking part in the summit. , as a result of the epidemic will be made entirely through a video conference.

Discussions at the conference have covered six major topics, including the “Surviving Country”, which will focus on economic and climate change, and “Market and Investment”, which will discuss the potential for investors to gain access to sustainable global economic growth. .

The conference will also feature top world leaders with more than 2000 CEOs, advocates and decision-makers on economics, finance, finance, expertise, energy, education, sports and climate, who will work together to find opportunities, provide feedback and reflect on global economics from Middle East.
