Realme GT is the cheapest Snapdragon 888 phone (currently available)

OnePlus may have left long ago “great killer” tagline, but his sister Realme – the team that brought us “garlic” and “onion” phones – is now reviving the two words in their global establishment. The program of Realme GT, first launched in China after March, is heading to other markets with a starting price of 369 euros (about $ 450), making it the world’s cheapest Snapdragon 888 phone. So far, anyway.

Before we get into the specs (which, frankly, is the most tiring part of today’s market), let’s take a look at the design of the phone. Realme GT comes in three colors: “Yellow Run,” “Dashing Silver” and “Dashing Blue.”

Personally, I’m on a “Racing Yellow” that features vegan skins with shiny stripes. Although I can store a protective bag, I love the feeling of the best seeds. The model comes in 9.1mm thick and 186.5g heavy, which is not a bad thing considering this and the extra 0.7mm and 0.5g on two other shiny items, respectively.

Realme GT puts all the boxes on the 2021 tablets: Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, 120Hz Super AMOLED panel (6.43 inches, FHD +), fingerprint reader, Dolby Atmos speakers, dual Nano SIM, NFC, 4,500mAh battery and fast charging for 35 minutes (65W SuperDart Charger included). Like me should nitpick, it would have been nice for Realme to throw a third microphone to end the good noise.

Realme GT comes with Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 and, for those who care, you will try Android 12 beta builds on this device before the release of the next Realme UI later this year.

Realme is also setting up this as a handheld device, due to its 360Hz frequency, connecting car engine, 3.5mm headphone jack and air-cooled ventilator – this seems to reduce the average temperature to 15 degrees Celsius. You can start the “GT Mode” which pushes the functionality and refresh features to max, as long as you look at the battery level.

The camera is not a real deal for Realme GT, but you still get the 64-megapixel f / 1.8 main camera, the 8-megapixel main camera (119 degrees), the 2-megapixel main camera and the 16-megapixel selfie camera. You will find custom formats like “Super Night Mode,” “Timelapse,” “Panoramic View,” “AI Beauty” up to 4K / 60fps video recording on a large camera.

Realme GT will soon be on sale in other European markets, with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage going to 369 euros (about $ 450) for the first bird sale on AliExpress between June 21 and 25. The optional storage of 12GB RAM + 256GB of choice will be available for 499 euros (approximately $ 605) as part of Amazon Prime Day between June 21 and 22nd. Subsequently, prices are priced up to 449 euros (about $ 540) and 599 euros (about $ 730), respectively, on all sales.

Realme is also working to bring in a “ killer ” in other major markets, namely the UK and India, which will no doubt threaten the interests of Xiaomi, Samsung and Huawei. That said, the company has no plans to bring phones to the US.

In addition to Realme’s impressive attraction to the global market, the company is also launching its Techlife home appliance, starting with can enter the robot who suck and use a LIDAR map with a 300ml water tank. This will cost 299 euros (about $ 360) when it goes on sale on AliExpress on June 16th.
