Winner + adds his football facts and the addition of another well-known league. CBS Sports will be the only US-based player in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League (WSL) for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons, with 57 games broadcast on Paramount + and CBS Sports Network each season. Most games will be played at Paramount +, but some will only air on CBS Sports Network.
WSL, which currently airs on NBC platforms in the US, has 12 teams and is the highest level of women’s football in England. American football fans have recognized other players, including recent USWNT member Tobin Heath, who plays for Arsenal. A recent story of USWNT retirement Carli Lloyd spent some time on loan at Manchester City a few years ago.
WSL complements the number of games available on Paramount +, which includes National Women Soccer League, Women’s Cup Competition and qualified for the UEFA Women’s World Cup. Paramount + also plays games from the UEFA Champions League, CONCACAF national team competitions, Italian Serie A, Scottish Premier and more.
Paramount + now plays more than 2,000 games a year. In the meantime, T-Mobile subscribers can have up to a year on the platform at no additional cost.
