Panasonic’s S5 and S1 cameras have recently supported Blackmagic RAW video

Panasonic will be rolling out all its Lumix S1 and S5 cameras with Blackmagic RAW 5.9K 12-bit 30 fps animation outside July 12th, the company he announced. Both cameras have released the resolution (5,888 x 3,312) up to 30 fps on HDMI to Blackmagic Design’s Video assist 12G HDR recorder, to join S1H and that ability.
S1 and S5 both end write already 5.9K 12-bit ProRes RAW video for Atomos Ninja V artists. However, ProRes RAW is not supported in Davinci Resolve 17, which is why Blackmagic RAW (BRAW) recording is essential for this conversion program. BRAW also offers many RAW options, although both formats have it strengths and weak points.
In addition to 5.9K digital video, all cameras can capture APS-C C4K video (17: 9) up to 4,128 x 2,176 60 fps, or APS-C 3.5K anamorphic. Panasonic has also developed Adobe Photoshop HLG software for all S cameras, making it easier to deal with HDR format.
These new changes are part of welcome in the industry they add extra features to old cameras. 5.9K video is especially useful for other types of shooting, as it allows the editor to completely edit 4K or HD images without losing detail.
