No problem sorry Sorry about TIE Fighter Pilots

Fictional Writer Django Wexler is a life star of Star Wars and always wants to write a story in this universe. He achieved his goals last year when his short article “Amara Kel’s TIE Fighter Pilot Survival Rules (Probably)” appeared in anthology The Kingdom Is Backward: From Other Places.
“The idea is to reflect the thoughts of the people in these movies which are not the most talked about,” says Wexler in Section 474 of Geek design in Galaxy Podcast. “I was so excited to be with them. It was very difficult. ”
Wexler’s story focuses on the lives of TIE fighter pilots, who are often referred to as the wireless food chains in Star Wars movies. “I went into X-Wing Games-That’s just X-wings against the TIE wrestling game you play at the table – and that was a little bigger, which is why I wanted to get involved in the short story, “says Wexler.” That’s when he told me to do one from The Kingdom Strikes Back, this is what I did as a TIE pilot story. “
The video portrays TIE freedom fighters as careless, wandering in crowded places and colliding with asteroids, sailors, and each other, leading Wexler to think that TIE pilots should have a lot of lies. “I really wanted to do the opinion of someone who saw this and ended up with this,” he says. “And that’s why his rules just say, ‘Let the other guys go on a tour of the asteroids, if you want to keep going to work.'”
Wexler hopes his story will lead viewers to speculate that many TIE pilots may not be allowed to join their beloved families. “No one wants to be reminded that all the guys who are shot or beaten or thrown on the bridge in these films are people,” he says. “That’s why when the terrorists fight the Death Star, we can see all the faces of the terrorists, and the guys fighting in the TIE are all wearing masks. The reason is that we can have violent feelings with no consequences.”

Django Wexler on new features:
“Instructions has done an amazing job in the novella space, and it is one of my dreams to write them another book the other day, because there have been so many — Martha Wells’ Murderbot’s notes and Seanan McGuire Misleading Children list control there is a great one called Gurkha is the Lord of the Tuesday, which I like — and so on. There are all these new records he has made. … It’s ebooks, really. The problem is that you can’t buy a real book for $ 2.99 and own a bookstore – it’s not worth their time. And contrary to fact, you can’t buy the new price for $ 12 and expect to sell more copies. As a result, the availability of ebooks has changed the nature of the economy to make this possible. “
Django Wexler on magic:
“Most of the magical machines in the fantasy world, and many of the things I write and practice are magically equipped with computers, sometimes better than others. … In myths, Shadow Camps, One of the things they are researching is that there is a real truth about magic, which I have grasped in a vague way, but then the different cultures that appear, and learn to use them, do so with different ideas about what it is and how it works. And for whatever reason, this seems like a computer concept to me, that you know this, but the reality is also explained by how people use it. ”
Django Wexler pa Asimov magazine:
“The first article I wrote – which I wrote at the age of 15 – I wrote and showed to my father, and he thought it was a good one. What he told me was, ‘You know that when you do something, we tell you it’s okay because we love you and want to help you?’ And I said, ‘Yeah, I understand that.’ And they’re like, ‘Well, this isn’t the same. I think this is the best.’ Asimov but they didn’t take it, which is probably the best. But it did strengthen Asimov e.g. the the market for science fiction for me — not to mention other magazines, but that’s how I read it. The reason for selling something to them was success. ”
Django Wexler on his short story “TRUE”:
That one started to become Moon Ride false claims. This was an article I wrote in the days of my faith, and I should not say that any word on fictional fiction turned into a story, because I just sat down and rewrote it. … It was about a real person who saw what they thought I was playing / playing on the radio. But the idea of starting with the last stinger is the old story. It’s almost like I’ve made it a little bit different, so it’s not based on fiction. So that’s a good example of repeating an old story, not copying any words from another document but just taking some idea and doing it right, I believe. ”
Many Great Stories
