World developments at the end of the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza | Conflicts between Israel and Palestine Issues
Ceasefire is welcome as the UN chief wants to make a real effort to address the root causes of conflict and reconcile the world.
Prohibition of war has begun in Gaza Strip after Egypt signed an agreement between Israel and Hamas to end 11 days of conflict.
Thousands of people in Gaza and the Palestinian territories poured into the streets to celebrate the ceasefire, waving flags and flashing “V” signs of victory.
At least 232 Palestinians, including 65 children, have been killed in a bomb blast in Israel.
In Israel, 12 people, including two children, were killed.
