The next major update to Windows 10 does not include one . As they say , Microsoft is also working on finalizing support for AAC Bluetooth codec support. This is good news if you have two AirPods. Currently, Windows 10 restricts you to SBC and Qualcomm’s AptX. AAC is closely associated with Apple. All Bluetooth companies send with the codec and switch to SBC when it is not available.

Microsoft is also changing the way you select Bluetooth inputs in Windows 10. In the meantime, if you click on the audio options, you’ll see a number of headphones and speakers connected to your computer. It’s a distraction from knowing what you have to click if you want to listen to music or talk to someone. Going forward, Windows 10 will instead simply switch to the correct Bluetooth profile. All you have to do is choose the tool you want to hear all about.

Outside of these updates, Windows 10 users can also expect support in games and innovations . If you are a Windows Insider, you can try this by changing it and installing Preview Build 21370.
