Israeli forces kill 11 Palestinians protesting in the West Bank overthrowing the Gaza bombing.
Clashes between Israeli police and Palestinian protesters continued Friday night in East Jerusalem. Following Friday prayers, thousands of Palestinians staged protests in more than 200 places in the West Bank.
Alongside Ramallah, Nablus, and other towns and cities, hundreds of Palestinians opposed the Gaza campaign and the Israeli occupation of Jerusalem.
He saluted the Palestinian flags, burned tires and stoned Israeli soldiers. More than 500 Palestinians were injured across the country, while protesters were hit by tear gas in Israel, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said.
At least 139 Palestinians, including 40 children, have been killed in Gaza since Monday. About 950 were injured.
At least eight people in Israel were also killed. Israeli forces say hundreds of rockets have been fired from Gaza to various parts of Israel.
