IK Multimedia introduces guitar playing based on AmpliTube software

Over the years, IK Multimedia has given guitar players the ability to enhance their dreams or test the preparation of their heroes without forcing a few instruments into their homes – or losing their storage account. The company AmpliTube software provides the ability to use popular outputs, amps and cabinets through a digital format instead of the hardware itself. But the program is computerized or tablet, so it is not the most important thing to take on the road. Today, IK Multimedia is showcasing the line of AmpliTube X-GEAR: a group of four guitars with similar effects on a powerful desktop application.

AmpliTube X-GEAR pedals offer distraction (X-DRIVE), flexibility (X-VIBE), delay (X-TIME) and reverb (X-SPACE). All four images are full of 16 different effects and IK Multimedia has developed new ways to interact and delay. The company claims that although it provides users with a variety of tools, any X-GEAR equipment uses digital parallel (DSP) tools.

Because this is based on a powerful software, IK Multimedia claims that X-GEAR mobiles work well in the studio and on the app. With the desktop app (AmpliTube SE is included with the pedals), you can customize and save preferences, plus up to 300 presets, back to original if needed. Thanks to up to 192kHz internal and over-the-top performance, the company says X-GEAR pedals can also provide you with “true and responsive” similar to AmpliTube’s desktop.

Each X-GEAR recorder is housed in an aluminum shell with 24-bit / 192kHz frequency converters and 5Hz – 24kHz feedback frequencies. IK Multimedia claims that the frequency response combined with the dry analog method is a real or easy move to allow your guitar ring to flow steadily. When it comes time to record, the X-GEAR pedals can act as USB cable and digital digital connectivity (DAW). You can choose between wet or dry signatures, use stereo output for monitoring and use full MIDI integration. On stage, find everything in the X-GEAR line with a slideshow and you will have more control over each of the rising levels. There are also five options for each cabinet so you can connect them to the PA if needed.

X-GEAR drivers are on sale every August for $ 300, but you can order them here from the company page. That price puts the latest IK Multimedia tools below on a number of options such as Strymon’s BlueSky and Mobius pedals. The main difference is that IK Multimedia is known for its audio interfaces, MIDI controllers and plug-ins software while companies like Strymon are respected in the guitar world for their recordings. This is the first time that IK Multimedia has created what many would consider to be “real” based, so it will be interesting to see if the company has successfully applied the technology to this new program.
