The Gates Foundation has announced a plan that will allow Melinda French Gates to step down as another chair and to receive “benefits” from her ex-husband who had already separated for the sake of helping others if she or Bill Gates decided they could no longer work together.
The escape threat, which will take effect in two years, was unveiled Wednesday along with other types of corporate reforms aimed at lasting future of the most interesting foundations in the world at a time of uncertainty.
