Honda to stop the production of hydrogen and plug-in for hybrid Clarity vehicles

After killing Clarity EV last year, Honda is able to make its own hydrogen-cell fuel and plug-in hybrid Clarity types this summer, Autoblog they say. The idea was said to have come as a result of low demand and Honda’s new interest in electronics, according to Nikkei.

Clarity’s oil tanker was crippled in the US since it was priced at $ 71,200 and the lack of hydrogen refueling in the US. With the demise of Clarity EV, PHEV and fuel cell types, Honda is currently not producing electric vehicles at all in the US.

However, the company is said to be producing enough types of lubricating oils for licenses by 2022 and will provide future assistance. Honda has already announced the release of the 2024 electric car and wants to sell zero-emissions EVs by 2040.

This could include EVs, but Honda has not yet lost on hydrogen either, having it struck an alliance and GM oil-producing vehicles. However, most hydrogen in the US is produced by gas recycling, so the oil is still emits greenhouse gases even the only water that comes out of the fuel tank device.
