The Google Cloud network account has removed several of the most popular websites today, including Spotify, Snapchat, Etsy and Discord. Google says so the matter was resolved slightly from 1:17 PM ET, but full remediation is yet to come. Affected websites will display 404 incorrect messages and there is no way to work on the client side.
Users started reporting problems with other pages Tuesday before 1PM ET, and Google Cloud confirmed the internet problem at 1:10 PM ET.
“We apologize to all those affected by the disturbance,” the company wrote.
