Coronavirus soon: Russia’s largest bank warns of impending financial crisis

Pennsylvania – the fifth most populous country in the US – will lift almost all of the coronavirus vaccines by the end of May, while Illinois – the sixth most populous – is on a mission to increase cross-border trade and events in July.

Prohibition of power at bars, restaurants and in-house and outdoor meetings in Pennsylvania will be lifted on May 31, a Memorial Day holiday.

However, the requirement to wear face masks will be lifted once 70% of Pennsylvani’s people between the ages of 18 and above receive full immunizations, Ambassador Tom Wolf said in a statement Tuesday.

According to a change in the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Monday, 41.8% of adults in Pennsylvania completed their Covid-19 vaccine treatment, compared with 40.6% of the U.S. total.

“As we continue to make progress in the fight against the spread of Covid-19 and with Pennsylvania officials receiving vaccination and guidance from the CDC changing, we can continue to move forward with our reopening,” said Alison Beam, Secretary of Health.

Pennsylvania has registered about 25 new cases of coronavirus per 100,000 daily in the last week, according to CDC data. This is the fourth highest rate in the US after Michigan, Colorado and Minnesota and is compared to seven days worldwide with about 15 new cases per 100,000 people.

Meanwhile, Illinois is on the verge of raising the bar on business and events in July, officials announced, and restarted its economy.

The government is in the fourth phase of its reopening plans, but it must enter the Bridge Phase before the final phase, when all businesses are open, insecure people can return to work and many jobs can resume health care guidelines.

Officials say 55% of people in government over the age of 16 have received the first coronavirus vaccine. They added that 79% of people over the age of 65 received their first share, which was above the 70% required by the government to relocate to Bridge Phase.

“As the movement continues to stabilize and slow down, the government may move into the ‘Bridge Phase’ of the Illinois Restoration Program,” officials said. “With 28 days to go before the stabilization or reduction of Covid-19 essential services, the government would move to Phase 5, setting up all borders. The government is planning to be in Phase 5 in July.”
