July 16,, Traveler: A Video About Anthony Bourdain will be unveiled at an exhibition in the US. Like many other works, the artwork incorporated old manuscripts, including interviews and presentations, to try to explain the story in their own words. There are also words that Bourdain did not speak to the camera before he died in suicide in 2018, but you will still hear his words.
In conversation with , The film’s director, Morgan Neville, said there were three words that he wanted Bourdain to explain when there were no recordings, so he redesigned them with a program instead. “I created an AI version of his voice,” he told the magazine.
Apparently it wasn’t easy though. In contrast , Neville said he had consulted with four different companies for the project before deciding on success. The company spent about 12 hours listening to the AI genre. Many of the work involves choosing the tone of Bourdain’s Neville vocabulary that demands the program’s benefit as the way in which the author and his colleagues describe what he wrote has changed dramatically over the years he was on TV.
Compared to some of the ways we have seen AI and deep he loved to deceive people, this is not the worst example, but his actions are still skeptical. The video, as far as we know, does not include revealing that AI was used to copy Bourdain’s words. “If you were watching a video, other than the line you mentioned, you probably don’t know which lines AI spoke to, and you don’t know,” Neville told New Yorker. “We can have a legal team for this later.” In conversation with GQ, Bourdain’s family told him “Tony would be happy with this,” adding, “I’m just trying to make [the quotes] keep living. ”
