Amazon’s Kindle Vella episodic story platform launches in July

Amazon is launching an imaginary shop that gives you the opportunity to open small, self-contained stories using online apps and apps. A communication platform, called Love Vella, is another way writers get money from Print Direct service, which cost $ 370 million royal for freelance writers in 2020. The project is scheduled to run until mid-July.

Despite having a name, Kindle Vella will not be available in the e-reader category, as the company chooses to launch directly on Amazon.com with its Kindle iOS app. Initially, at least, the work should be for the only US writers who publish news in English.

Amazon states that organized content should be between 600 and 5,000 words per category, with the first three sections available for free. To unlock additional chapters, you must apply for a loan (or tokens as they call Amazon), which range from $ 2 for 200 tokens to $ 15 for 1700 tokens, which gives you 34 installments. .

Authors, meanwhile, have taken 50% of the payments their articles make and are also able to earn bonuses based on what they do. That’s when the cultural sector comes in. Readers will be able to provide favorite stories such as thumbs up, and scores for others to see. There is also a system that can empower active readers (who spend money) to receive a weekly reward that they can contribute to their favorite subject. The highest recipients will be displayed on the front panel.

Authors who want to strengthen their connection can also leave the author’s notes with additional ideas or recognition or ETA in the next section.
