China cha the slope of the moon finds water on the surface of the Moon, which is the first time scientists have found on the pages evidence of the object on Earth’s satellite. In a study published in , Chinese researchers say the pilot noticed signs of water molecules or hydroxyl, a cousin of H2O. Chang’e-5 used a spectrometer to analyze the structure of the regolith near its base. It found that most of the land contained less than 120 percent of the water, making the surface of the Luna much drier than the earth.

Chinese scientists believe that more molecules came to the Moon through the process of solar wind implantation. Tiny particles from the sun push hydrogen atoms over the moon where they combine with the air to form water and hydroxyl. The study makes NASA’s findings when it found evidence of water in the Moon’s sunlight using an infrared airborne telescope. For centuries, scientists believed that the Moon was extremely dry because it had no atmosphere. Without air, they thought that nothing could protect the water molecules from the sun’s harmful rays.
