Monday’s ruling deals with conspiracy theories and violations of COVID-19.

This is the first of 12 Myanmar military operations to face Aung San Suu Kyi since the overthrow of the government on February 1.

Other charges against him include high-profile corruption cases, breach of state secrecy laws, and a telecom law punishing more than 100 years.

Aung San Suu Kyi denies all charges.
