Peng Shuai: Missing Chinese tennis star appears in Beijing | Sexual Harassment

Chinese athlete Peng Shuai took him to a tennis tournament in Beijing, according to official photos, amid international concerns over his criticism of China’s top rapist.

China Open, the organizer of the competition, posted pictures of Peng at the Fila Kids Junior Tennis Challenger Finals on Sunday.

The images were posted on the WeChat official page.

Hu Xijin, editor of the Communist Party with the Communist Party, also released a 37-second video on Twitter showing Peng watching the game with five other people.

The first twice in the world has not been seen or heard publicly since he said on television on November 2 that Deputy Prime Minister Zhang Gaoli forced him to have sex, and they later agreed.

Peng’s appearance in the competition came after a visit to a popular restaurant in Beijing on Saturday night.

Hu also sent a video of the exit, which the restaurant manager confirmed to Reuters on Sunday.

Seven people, including Peng, were at a Sichuanese restaurant, said the manager, Zhou Hongwei, adding that he had eaten in a private room and contacted the owners of the restaurant.

“It was crowded in the restaurant as usual,” Zhou said, pointing to a budget that includes noodles and bamboo shoots. “They didn’t have much. I think they chat a lot. “

Peng adds to the growing number of Chinese businesses, human rights activists and missing citizens in recent years after criticizing parties or violating corruption or campaigning to promote democracy and the right to work.

Others appear weeks or months later without explanation, meaning they are being warned not to reveal what they have been imprisoned for or why.

Steve Simon, chairman of the WTA and CEO, expressed concern about Peng’s safety on Saturday, even though Hu posted two of his videos in restaurants.

“While it is good to see him, it is not known if he is free and able to make his own decisions and decisions, without coercion or interference from others. This video alone is not enough,” said Simon.

The International Olympic Committee has kept quiet about the role of Peng, who participated in the three Olympics, contributing to the IOC’s multi-million dollar funding from radio and charities.

Emma Terho, the newly elected head of the IOC’s Athletes’ Commission who is accused of representing the interests of Olympic athletes, said on Saturday that “we support peace processes” that the IOC favors.

Last week, an international foreign television station broadcast in English that Peng dismissed Zhang’s allegations. Simon of the WTA doubted his legitimacy, while others said it only added to their concerns for his safety.
