John McAfee Dies In Spain After Another Reign

[ad_1]

John McAfee, an expert who made a fortune on antivirus software, was found dead in a jail near Barcelona on Wednesday, hours after the Spanish Supreme Court ruled in his favor to travel to the United States to face tax evasion. He was 75 years old.

The story of his death was the first said by El Pais, who said he committed suicide. The employee then confirmed his death to the Associated Press, with a statement from the Catalan government stating that a 75-year-old US citizen awaiting repatriation cannot resume.

McAfee was arrested last October in Spain, on charges of refusing to pay millions of dollars in taxes from 2014 to 2018 in Tennessee. He also faced charges from Manhattan’s federal investigators for using “pump and dump” cryptocurrency funds.

Earlier in the day, a Spanish court ruled that McAfee could face another charge, after months of stating that the charges against him were politically motivated and were designed to ensure his release from prison.

Tax evasion cases were not the first time McAfee had been linked to an investigative investigation. In 2012, McAfee was wanted questions in Belize for killing a neighbor.

For months, McAfee was tweeting from prison.

McAfee said he had them Ana 47.

“Father of many, beloved and few,” his wife Janice wrote in a letter he wrote on Twitter on Father’s Day.

In the letter, he said, the US government “has determined that John should die in prison to set an example for him in condemning corruption in their governments.”
