YouTube Shorts is now available in over 100 countries around the world

Prior to limited release in India at the end of last year and a US beta early 2021, YouTube is increasing the availability of Shorts, which competes on TikTok, to more than 100 countries. Once the company launches the brand, everyone can see Short. However, only those in about a dozen countries are able to use the tools that YouTube developed for recording and editing shortcuts. With the announcement today, the company is making these tools available, meaning that you may be seeing more of them appearing on the platform.

YouTube’s short-term video tracking only comes when TikTok becomes like YouTube. In early July, the company, subsequent months of testing, gave all its users the ability to scan clips up to length of three minutes. By lowering its 60-second limit, TikTok said its goal is to provide manufacturers with flexibility, especially for those who make cooking and beauty training.
