You must use TweetDeck

As mentioned on Twitter it is test updates to TweetDeck as well, so it looks like the functionality is on the way (and we’ve crossed the fingers and hopefully they won’t interfere with anything there.)

For now, TweetDeck is only available in the browser, but it is possible that mobile apps are being developed somewhere along the line as Twitter continues to make ads.

View Everything in Real Time

The secret of TweetDeck is its size, splitting into categories that you can manage. While Twitter is just one part – showing tweets of the people you follow – TweetDeck gives you the opportunity to have this space and much more alongside it. If you have a window viewer, you can view multiple tweets at once.

You can add new pillars by clicking on the big blue one + icon to the left of the TweetDeck interface. In addition to your great Twitter time (tweets from the people you follow), you can set up columns that reflect your information, what you say, your direct messages, your favorite tweets, user tweets, tweets similar to search time, one for your Twitter listings, a topic you might like, and much more.

For example, you may want to set a search term for a specific hashtag on a news item, and check the tweets as they enter. Twitter, and use it instead of your time (especially if you just take a quick look at what’s going on online).
